Jeff Merrill - The travelling vet

The Traveling Vet - http://www.traveling-vet.com

Doctor Jeff Merrill provides a mobile veterinary service. He provides most procedures that you would expect from a ‘fixed site’ veterinarian clinic but in the comfort of your own home. Dr. Merrill also has expertise in birds and animals usually categorized as ‘exotic’ such as reptiles, ferrets, rabbits etc.

Doctor Merrill's website was setup with a very basic template style HTML layout.... all further maintenance has now been taken over by another of our customers (Toby from 3psc.net)

We have to add a small foot note here as a cautionary tale for anyone else working on an Anglo- Americanproject: We originally reserved the domain name as we started to put together this simply styled website (www.travelling-vet.com) so we went ahead and setup the website, email accounts and submitted to all the search engines... great we thought.

!error! Upon inspection by the customer they simple said we had mispelt the company name. "are you crazy" we said. But the old saying 'the customer is always right' was indeed correct. It turned out that the Americans spell travelling with only one 1 'L' - traveling. So it was back to the domain registrar and a swift update of the website and search engine resubmission.

The moral of the tale - check the color of your websites... ehm... colour I mean...
